Main Street Canyon examines the roles of monumental architecture, city planning and aspirational imagery in shaping an experience of Dallas. The city center is an obscene monument to capital accumulation, in the form of commodities and wealth, whose extreme nature is only matched by the extreme nature of the extraction that is evident in the surrounding areas.
